About
Ovska observes—to see, to appreciate, to remember, to create, to feel good.
OVSKA is the artistic alias of Anna Wieckowska (b. 1988), a Berlin-based Polish artist who works primarily in collage. After studying art history and cultivating a passion for mid-century furniture and design, she dedicated herself to fine art.
Inspired by fleeting moments of the past, Ovska assembles paper fragments of various ages, textures, and origins—including recycled materials—into striking abstract compositions. Her process is an act of preservation, turning delicate fragments of material reality into evocative visual stories. Guided by memory, touch, and intuition, she brings together once-disconnected elements, allowing them to find new meaning and form—emerging as timeless reflections of human experience.
